McCluster flusters Gator D

Someone finally got their arms cleanly around Dexter McCluster on Saturday.

Unfortunately for the Gators, it wasn’t a Florida defender and the game was over.
“That was my daughter, mom, dad and uncle,” Mississippi’s all-purpose threat said after the Rebels shocked the Gators, 31-30, at The Swamp. “I had to run over and hug them.”
This game was admittedly a little more meaningful than most for McCluster, a native of Largo, Fla., and coach Houston Nutt acknowledged the versatile junior also was a larger part of this week’s gameplan than usual.

“Dexter McCluster was a workhorse for us,” Nutt said.
