SCOTUS denies certiorari to Mississippi flag lawsuit

By: Magnolia Tribune - November 27, 2017

The US Supreme court has denied certiorari (without comment) to Moore v. Bryant, which sought to litigate the merits of the official state flag of Mississippi.

The case history and order can be found at https://www.supremecourt.gov/search.aspx?filename=/docket/docketfiles/html/public/17-23.html

Both the Congressional Black Caucus and the Southern Poverty Law Center had filed amicus briefs in the case. Attorney General Jim Hood’s office represented Governor Bryant.
