Bennie Thompson to speak at Miss. College commencement
CLINTON, Miss. – The only Democrat in Mississippi’s congressional delegation will speak next month at the Mississippi College commencement for graduate students.
U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson has a personal connection to the ceremony. His daughter, BendaLonne Jamir Thompson-Griffith, will receive her doctorate in education leadership.
She is an educational specialist with Jackson Public Schools.
