Mississippi REALTORS® today announced their support of the re-election of Lt. Gov. Tate Reeves.
The Mississippi Association of REALTORS® is the largest business trade organization in the state representing more than 5,500 real estate professionals.
“Lt. Gov. Reeves has supported public policies to keep taxes low and create jobs throughout Mississippi,” said MAR President Andrea Inman Detrick of Oxford. “He recognizes that strong local communities translate directly into strong neighborhoods where Mississippi families can realize the American dream – home ownership.”
Under Lt. Gov. Reeves, Mississippi has a balanced state budget, decreased debt burden and a full rainy day fund. More than 18,000 jobs have been announced over the past four years.
“Mississippi’s economy depends on a strong workforce that is ready to respond to a global marketplace,” said Flowood REALTOR® Lynette Praytor, Chairwoman of the Mississippi REALTORS® Political Action Committee. “Lt. Gov. Reeves has worked to raise the education attainment level of students so they can be successful, stay in Mississippi and grow our towns.”
