Former Cochran aide gets continuance in drug case
WASHINGTON – A former senior aide to Mississippi Sen. Thad Cochran was granted a continuance Friday in the drug case against him.
Fred Pagan, 49, a longtime Cochran staffer, pleaded not guilty in April to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell continued the case until July 10.
