Third candidate qualifies for Circuit Court Judge race
HATTIESBURG, MS (WDAM) – A third candidate put his name in the race Tuesday for the second circuit court judge seat in the 12th Judicial District.
Hattiesburg attorney Chad Shook will run against former district attorney Jon Mark Weathers and outgoing Hattiesburg city attorney Charles E. Lawrence, Jr.
Shook ran against incumbent Judge Bob Helfrich last November for the seat, which has since gotten an additional judgeship thanks to House Bill 703.
