Fox News’ Varney to address the Mississippi Council on Economic Education
The Mississippi Council on Economic Education will mark its 10th anniversary Tuesday with an annual forum fundraiser at the Jackson Convention Complex that will feature Fox News’ Stuart Varney.
The council equips educators of K-12 students to teach how economics, personal finance and entrepreneurship relate to their lives as a worker, citizen and consumer.
Varney is the host of “Varney & Company” on Fox News Channel.
An economist educated at the London School of Economics, he received a Peabody Award for excellence in journalism for his coverage and analysis of the stock market crash of 1987.
Varney will address the rapidly shifting domestic and global economic trends and the implications for business, institutional investors and individuals.
