A number of politicians braved wet weather Thursday to speak to voters at the East Central Civic Association political forum.
About 50 people braved the rain to hear the candidates, which included Jamie Franks, candidate for lieutenant governor, and a host of candidates for county offices.
Franks is positioning himself as a moral conservative, highlighting his opposition to same-sex marriage and support for the partial-birth abortion ban.
