Only one Mississippi congressman voted Wednesday for a bill that would provide $124 billion for the war in Iraq and would order President Bush to start pulling troops out of Iraq by Oct. 1.
U.S. Rep. Bennie Thompson, a Democrat, voted for the bill. U.S. Reps. Gene Taylor, a Democrat, and Republicans Chip Pickering and Roger Wicker voted against it.
