Gray on Bryant: “do-nothing-and-blame-someone-else attitude” will bite him in the “you-know-what”

Democratic candidates visit Purvis for meet-and-greet

PURVIS – In a small Purvis restaurant sat three candidates hoping to be elected in the Nov. 3 general election — one of them with plans on being the next governor of Mississippi.

Gubernatorial hopeful Robert Gray, who won his party’s primary in August, addressed a meeting of the Lamar County Democrats on Saturday at Stonehouse restaurant, explaining why he feels he is better suited for the position than incumbent Gov. Phil Bryant.

“We have to improve our health care system, create jobs to get our people working and work on education to have a more prepared work force,” Gray said. “This do-nothing-and-blame-someone-else attitude that Bryant has is just going to come back and bite him in the you-know-what.”
