Sojourner, Dearing square off at chamber
LIBERTY — Senate District 37 candidates Bob Dearing and Melanie Sojourner laid out their cases in no uncertain terms Monday at a Liberty?Area Chamber of Commerce luncheon.
Dearing, a Democrat and former longtime senator, is challenging Sojourner, the?Republican incumbent, in the Nov. 3 general election.?Dearing served in the position for 32 years before losing to Sojourner in the last election.
