State Rep. John Moore dropped an R-bomb just the other day, on the radio of all places. Mr. Moore! Ladies and children could be listening.
Yes, the gentleman from Pelahatchie had discovered a burning need to reform the state’s campaign-finance laws…
…As I got the car and myself under control, he was still going on about the crazy campaign laws in the state that could be ignored by a school superintendent who uses school websites to promote Initiative 42. I would list all the ways that constitutional amendment initiative drives Moore and his colleagues wild but time, and space, are short.
“There’s no teeth in it,” he said about campaign laws on Republican radio last week. “That’s an issue that will be very high on the agenda going into the next session.”
