Affordable Care Jubilee set to sign Mississippians up for health insurance
On Friday, the regional director of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will join Congressman Bennie Thompson at the Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center in Jackson for an Affordable Care Jubilee.
The goal of the event is to educate and assist the constituency on enrollment in “the marketplace” health insurance exchange. HHS Regional IV Director Pamela Roshell of Atlanta is headlining the event. Roshell was appointed to the position in July 2012, bringing nearly 20 years of experience in health care policy, public administration, and gerontology.
The Affordable Care Jubilee is from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Jackson-Hinds Comprehensive Health Center, located at 3502 West Northside Drive.
