Tennessee Volunteers aggressively recruit Georgia prospects
If Lane Kiffin is building a fence around Tennessee, then it may take some time, because he and his staff are surely focusing a lot on the state of Georgia.
The Volunteers created a stir on Friday when they became the first school to offer Gainesville sophomore linebacker A.J. Johnson, one of the state’s top 2011 prospects. Yes, that’s for players signing scholarship papers almost two years from now. And no, it wasn’t Kiffin, but Tennessee assistant Ed Orgeron who delivered the news.
