Rick Whitlow Running For Mayor
Former sports anchor Rick Whitlow said Wednesday that he’s running for Jackson mayor.
Whitlow, an Independent, ran an unsuccessful campaign in 2005, losing to current Mayor Frank Melton in the general election.
Whitlow has worked as a sports anchor for WJTV and WAPT. He has also served as the executive director for the crime watchdog group SafeCity Initiative. He is currently a financial advisor and life insurance agent for New York Life Insurance Company.
