The Mississippi Secretary of State’s website reveals that the following prominent lawyers donated money to Hinds County Circuit Court Judge Bobby Delaughter in his 2006 re-election campaign:
John Arthur Eaves : $1000
Langston & Langston: $400
David Meredith: $250
Steven Patterson: $2,500
Robert Shuler Smith: $500
Baria Law firm: $250
Judge Delaughter raised over $35,000 for his re-election in 2006. There was no mention of former Hinds County District Attorney Ed Peters in the records examined.
