Forrest County ADA Derek Arrington has been rumored to be considering the House 102nd seat currently occupied by Lee Jarrell Davis, who has announced he will not seek the seat again.
Arrington ran a very strong primary campaign against Davis last time and has been urged by many in the Hattiesburg area to run for the open seat. In a district that trends strongly Republican, Arrington is thought to be the favorite should he throw his hat into the ring.
