Tyner: Secret Service doesn’t like idea of @realDonaldTrump coming to Neshoba County Fair

By: Magnolia Tribune - June 29, 2016

Donald Trump’s Mississippi campaign manager Mitch Tyner told Paul Gallo on SuperTalk Wednesday morning that he sees no real effort underway to replace Trump as the Republican nominee at the upcoming Republican National Convention. He said Mississippi’s GOP delegates were all supportive of Trump and excited about the convention.

As to the prospect that Trump may attend the Neshoba County Fair, Tyner told Gallo the Secret Service did not like the idea but he and others, including Gov. Phil Bryant, were still trying to make it happen, noting Ronald Reagan’s visit during his successful White House run.

Tyner said he believes their ground game is far superior to that of Democrat Hillary Clinton’s in state effort.

As for the national polls showing Clinton trouncing Trump, Tyner dismissed them saying he doesn’t believe the polls and that it is the liberal media trying to prop up Clinton.
