When it comes the BCS, there’s never a good time to take a nap

EUGENE — They were crisp. They executed with brilliance. The University of Oregon football team lined up with discipline, enthusiasm and energy on Saturday at Autzen Stadium.

The Ducks completed every pass. They covered every receiver. They dominated the line of scrimmage, made every block clean, and looked every bit the No.1 team in the country.

Then, warmups ended.

And Oregon took a nap.
