HAYLEYWATCH – Barbour says high GOP turnout will be seen as referendum on Obama agenda

GOP casting midterms as referendum on Obama agenda

WASHINGTON — Republicans are casting Tuesday’s midterm elections as a referendum on the economic policies of President Barack Obama.

Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin tells “Fox News Sunday” that voters will send this message to the White House: “You blew it, President Obama.”

The chairman of the Republicans Governors Association, Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, says a strong turnout for Republican candidates will be seen as a repudiation of Obama’s agenda.

The head of the Democratic National Committee, Tim Kaine, says the midterm elections offer voters a choice between problem-solving Democrats and Republicans bent on obstructing Obama.

Barbour and Kaine appeared Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
