WAPT – Stokes wants to use taxpayer money to sue the Clarion Ledger
WAPT talked with Stokes Friday night, who confirmed his response. He said the findings of the Clarion-Ledger’s report were false.
Stokes said he has an item on next week’s agenda asking for the council to hire an attorney for him so that he can explore suing the newspaper.
The Clarion-Ledger’s managing editor Don Hudson responded by saying, “We stand by our story.”
