Session begins with new Biloxi lawmaker sworn in
DeLano, a real estate developer from the Gulf Coast, said he was eager to get to work.
DeLano won a special election in November to succeed Michael Janus, also a Republican from Biloxi. Janus, who had been in the House since January 1996, resigned in September to become city manager in D’Iberville.
