NCAA added to Coach Bobby Bowden’s victories long before it took some away

Social hour at 5:30? Dinner at 6:30?

Hey, it’s great that the Tallahassee Quarterback Club is celebrating its 60th anniversary by roasting Bobby Bowden next Wednesday, but don’t they realize the man will be 80 in November?
He’ll need two naps to stay up that late.
But it is nice that, in looking for a proper tribute, they settled on a roast.
Anything to warm those old bones.
The list of roasters looks like a who’s who of coaches, employed, retired and furloughed. Mack Brown and Bob Stoops will send video messages. Mark Richt, Tom Osborne and Tommy Bowden will show up in person.
